Eligibility

Scholarship Criteria

Please review carefully. All criteria must be satisfied to qualify.

Ndokwa Indigene

The candidate must be an Ndokwa indigene by parentage (Father or Mother).

Higher Institution

Candidate must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree or HND program in any higher institution in Nigeria.

Need & Merit

Selection will be based on demonstrated need and academic merit.

Academic Performance

Students must maintain an average grade point of 2.5 in a 4-point scale and 3.0 in a 5-point scale.

Recommendation Letters

Applicants must provide recommendation letters from an academic adviser and a notarized JP identification letter.

Internship Notification

Recipients must notify NAIA of any internship, housemanship, or industrial training during the academic year.

Application Process

How the selection process works.

Recipients will be selected and announced in the first quarter of the school year. The following stages govern the scholarship process.

Complete Application

Submit the online scholarship application form with all required information and documents.

Candidate Shortlisting

Applications will undergo internal review and qualified candidates will be shortlisted.

Candidate Notification

Shortlisted candidates will be contacted through phone calls and email notifications.

Document Verification

Candidates will present original hard copies of documents for authentication and verification.

Final Selection

The scholarship committee will complete the final review and approve selected recipients.

Award Presentation

Successful candidates will be publicly announced and presented with scholarship awards.

Essay Requirement

Applicants must submit a typed essay (minimum one full page, 12pt font size) describing their academic and career goals, and explaining the value of education in achieving those goals.

Essays are evaluated based on grammar, originality, punctuation, spelling, and content quality. Accepted formats include Microsoft Word, PDF, and RTF.
